The main advantage for our school prom bookings is that we allow you to completely tailormake your evening to suit your requirements. Whether it be the food, decorations etc. we offer flexibility to allow you to create the school prom of your dreams. However, if you would like us to make recommendations we would be happy to help.

For our School Proms we can help you to organise your event suggesting themes, colours, balloons, table decorations, a disco, a band, car hire companies and a photographer, or we are happy for you to organise it all yourself, but if you need good contacts we have many we can recommend.

Plus specifically for our proms we can customise specific delicious buffets and reception drinks, ideal for your prom, such as a refreshing non-alcoholic punch on arrival at your prom. Please see some of our special school prom suggested menus which we can recommend.

For school proms we can cater up to 150 guests for a formal 3 course meal and up to 200 for a more informal buffet. Music can play till 12.30am.
 
The Abbey Hotel is ideally located in Redditch, just south of Birmingham, just a short drive away from the M42, Junction 2, so is a perfect location for schools/colleges located in Redditch, Birmingham, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Stratford etc.

Golf Driving Range Launch VIP Opening

The new impressive golf driving range at the 4 star Abbey Hotel Golf and Spa in Redditch is now only a month from opening!

The new professional driving range will feature: covered 2 tier floodlit 28 bay range, automated ball dispensers, 3 large high quality target greens and first class coaching facility with heated bays and custom fitting!

The exterior construction is near completion and outfield lights on the new range have now been installed as photographed below:

To launch the opening of this impressive driving range the Abbey Hotel will be holding a VIP launch event, strictly invite only. As well as former Ryder Cup player, Paul Broadhurst, making an apearance on the night, golf trick shot star David Edwards will also be performing an outstanding show on the night.

 

David Edwards is widely regarded as one of the best trick shot golf stars in the business. In the past two years, he has seen his show elevated to the world stage, performing it at the 2010 Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor, the 2011 Solheim Cup at Killeen Castle in Ireland - and this November will be his third year at the European Tour's end of season Dubai World Championships. Now aged 56, David is a former European Tour player himself, having played in the 1981 British Open. His show is unique - and he has performed it in some unique places, including the deck of the QE2 in the bay of St Andrew's.

He operates with an array of unlikely props, such as claw hammers, hosepipes, fishing rods and many more. His fantastic feats of skill, timing and judgement are breathtaking. His show is laced with humour - and audience participation. And it's not just golf fans who love David's show - so too do the top players and the celebrities. Young Irish superstar Rory McIlroy and US Masters champion Louis Oosthuizen combined to take part in one trick shot out in Dubai, where McIlroy lay flat on his back on the ground and Oosthuizen held a high tee that the current US Open champion was holding between his teeth while David hit a ball off it.
Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has also taken part in David's show, as too have top television presenters Ant and Dec.

David has now performed his show in 50 more than different countries throughout the world.
He often has a hectic itinery, fitting it all in. This year alone, he has been to Florida twice, China, Malaysia, Germany, Holland, Austria and Denmark. We are all looking forward to welcoming David Edwards perform at the golf driving range launch.
