Abbey Hotel Dream Team through to the MARCHE Awards Finals

The Abbey Hotel, Golf and Spa is delighted that a total of five staff team members have become finalists for the 2012 MARCHE Awards of Excellence.

The MARCHE Awards (Midlands Association of Restaurants, Caterers, Hotels & Entertainment) were established in 1997 to encourage training, motivation and team building for organisations operating within the hospitality and leisure industries.

Every year competitions are held in various categories with hotels accross the Midlands competing. Abbey Hotel staff who have become finalists in MARCHE categories include:

• Rob Scotford - Sales Coordinator of the Year
• Adam Bradbury - Food and Service Category
• Louise Wilock - Food and Service Category
• Sophie Russell - Receptionist of the Year
• Stuart Myers - Drinks Assistant 

All the above finalists now have to compete in a final competition relevant to their category and then the winners of each category will be announced on the awards night. This glittering evening is held each Spring at The International Convention Centre on Sunday 25th March.
